Owl & Dog Playbooks is an independent children's book publisher based in the UK, established by design studio Yard.
Our books are designed to be read and used creatively. We explore new and unusual formats, we delight in the magical moments of discovery, a surprise you didn’t expect, so children can experience books in a new way. We promote playing and learning, encouraging the interaction between children and their parents.
We take a stand for traditional physical books. They are didactic and fun objects of love which have an impact on our imagination.
In our name, OWL (the wise) represents reading, and DOG (the boisterous) represents the playing side.
Whether you are more of an owl or more of a dog, we hope you enjoy our books as much as we enjoy making them.
